The great value of NPR, which is broadcasted locally by KCBX is the quality of its journalistic coverage of many relevant issues. Yesterday, I heard this wonderful story that I would like to share with you. You can get the transcript at this link, but I suggest you listen it on the radio broadcast that you see on top of the linked page.
The great value of this story is to open our views to the possibility of different ways of dealing with governance. The traditional divide between owners and workers has received too much support in the light of the widespread failure of more communal ways of managing as in the experiences of self-management in former Yugoslavia. However, the World has changed and I think it is time to be open to new alternatives.
