This question has perplexed me for a while. There is no answer to this question except ‘this is how it has been all these years’. And that’s the most dangerous statement. In this post, I will discuss why HR Department should consist of people with engineering background in software product companies. Most of the analysis below consists of my discussions with my friends working in Top 10 software product companies.
